Legion Acquires Paxport
February 2007
In a deal with our partner, Halcrow, Legion has acquired the pedestrian simulation software, Paxport. Originally developed by Halcrow with guidance and input from London Underground (LU) and the British Airport Authority (BAA), we will distribute 'Paxport beta' free to customers buying an annual or perpetual licence for Legion Studio.
Paxport beta uses a block-based approach, which is different to the model used by Legion software, and will be useful for making rapid high-level capacity assessments of metro, overground rail and airport environments.
