Legion Studio 2006 is a vital tool for any transport or building planner. Increased crowding in urban areas, security challenges and heightened focus on walking and the use of public transport are increasingly turning the spotlight on the importance of pedestrian simulations.
The latest release was developed in direct response to user feedback and is even easier to use than previous versions, thanks to additions and improvements like these:
- Specialised Stair and Escalator objects
- Automated pedestrian route choice according to distance and/or journey time
- Manual placement of visibility zones has been replaced by ‘auto-navigation’, vastly reducing the time and expertise required to build a model
- Schedule and run several multiple key tasks using the new Timeline control
- Model operational or emergency procedures, such as the closure of stations or the redirection of evacuees to another route or exit
- Run multiple simulations and analyses in a batch without the need for further intervention
- New Evacuation Zones make evacuation simulations easy to set up and run
- Environment Maps enable you to analyse fire-outputs from FDS, like temperature, smoke and CO levels
