Transport for London Chooses Legion
November 2006
After an exacting 16-month OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) tender, Transport for London has chosen Legion Studio as its primary pedestrian simulation tool. Legion triumphed over a field of 8 competing companies, the final decision coming after a comprehensive three-month User Acceptance Testing programme.
TfL will use twenty licenced copies of Legion Studio for the following types of project: station refurbishment, design optimisation, congestion relief schemes, and business-case development. Legion software will be used across TfL’s principal divisions: Major Projects, TfL Streets, London Rail and London Underground Limited.
