Aimsun for Legion
'Aimsun for Legion' is the first fruit of our partnership with TSS: the leading traffic simulation software company behind 'Aimsun' software. Aimsun for Legion is a special edition of Aimsun, bundled together with Legion Studio. It enables architects, designers and urban planners to visualise pedestrian movements and traffic flows simulataneously.
This special edition of Aimsun enables you to simulate and test variables in a traffic network up to 40km long, with as many as 20 intersections. The data from these simulations, containing vehicle positions and the timings of traffic and pedestrian signals, can then be imported into Legion Studio or Legion 3D.
In combination with Legion files (model files, data files and 3D scene files) it is, for the first time, possible to visualise pedestrians alongside vehicles in the same simulation. In this way, Aimsun for Legion makes it easier and faster for designers to test and improve plans before they're implemented, ultimately leading to better designed, more cost-effective projects.
