This module of Studio 2006 is where you can build an accurate model of the space to be simulated and ultimately analysed. The Model Builder requires the following inputs:

• CAD plans of the facility (direct import of .dgn, .dwg or .dxf files is supported)
• Pedestrian demand (usually in the form of O&D matrices)
• Supporting information (e.g. escalator speeds, check-in distributions, service transaction times)
• Operational information (e.g. one-way systems, signs, escalator and walkway directions, staff rota, crowd management rules)
