Training

Legion offers two main training courses for customers and partners. The courses are written and delivered by experts who use the software on a regular basis and are closely involved with projects.  

Foundation Course

The Legion SpaceWorks Foundation Training course is an intensive three-day training session designed to introduce attendees to the Legion project process and all the features of Legion SpaceWorks.  It has been developed and is presented by Legion consultants, who are experts in the use of the software.  They have an in-depth knowledge of how the software functions and a practical appreciation of how it is applied in live, commercial projects.

General areas covered include but not limited to:

·     The concepts, research and development that are the basis of the software;

·     Project input requirements and how to prepare CAD, data and operational information for a model;

·     Using spatial objects to build basic infrastructure, such as entrances, exits, service points, queues, turnstiles, stairs, escalators, street crossings, platforms, etc.;

·     Conditional behaviour, such as response to timed events or changing circumstances;

·     Interpreting model QA (quality assurance) output and debugging a model;

·     Analysis tools, including maps, graphs, Journey Time and data output to Excel for post-processing or statistical analysis;

·     Setting up CAD layers and camera views for AVI production;

Advanced Course

The Legion SpaceWorks Advanced Training course is an intensive three-day training session designed to improve the knowledge of attendees and introduce users to features of Legion SpaceWorks, which they may not have used before.  It has been developed and is presented by Legion consultants, who are experts in the use of the software.  They have an in-depth knowledge of how the software functions and a practical appreciation of how it is applied in live, commercial projects.
